this app is difficult to use and frustrating. also the watermark after export is huge, ugly and unprofessional

This app gives me no end of trouble. At first I thought it was great...a new and improved upgrade to Type on PDF. It allows one to format text, which was not possible on its predecessor. However, nearly every time I use it, it freezes, and even when I restart, I am unable to continue editing the document I was working on. So all my time and effort goes down the drain, and I have to resort to using the Type on PDF app instead that, thankfully, I have not yet deleted from my iPad. Come on Tipirneni...Get your act together!

Look elsewhere if you are looking for free app. This app will let you type on a PDF, but what it doesnt say is that you have to pay if you want to send the PDF by email or any other manner. I just wasted an 45 min preparing my app to learn that couldnt send without a gaudy watermark. Oh and type on PDF was considerably better.

40 minute tutorial? Really? If it takes 40 minutes to show someone how to make it work it is a fail. Dont waste your time.

Fix this app. I try to work and dont can because this is frozen!

And expensive. Better options available. Free is not free.

I am recommending this app to all my Broadway colleagues who need an app to make clear, performance readable and editable scripts. I needed it for wind proofing, ease of editing layer in real time, and direct sharing with designers. Well worth the monthly .99 to get rid of watermarks while in production. (Monthly option) Hope for more options.

I cant get the app to open and Ive tried everything .... You go to the App Store and pull up the app to get app support and all it does is give you an option to read and no option to talk or email anyone , youd think at 9.99 to purchase thee would be some better support to help if youve got an issue . I dont want to delete and reinstall because Ill lose important paperwork .

Too complicated To confusing. All i want to do is write a few notes on a pdf , not create the magna carta. Argh

I was able to create form in conjunction with any kind of file scanner app. A little pricey but get the job done. I use every day at my job sending my work report though email instead write it on papers.

Its the worst app Ive ever seen and used. I cant type in my rage for reasons. Im sorry if my comment is not helpful.

The app itself is fine but I prefer the original incarnation of the product. The company now feels that you should pay them anytime you send a pdf through their product. Sorry I am not paying you in perpetuity to use your product. I would rather spend the money on a full feature pdf platform.

I have been using this product for a while but bugs dont get fixed and there is no place to report problems to. So if youre out there, please enable the keyboard when sending PDFs out as email, and please enable swipe functionality.

Takes some practice to get proficient. No underlined text available. Needs to have swipe to move between pages. Sending documents is pricey.

Ive been using type on PDFs pro for around 3 yrs as a way to write all of my business agreements. I use Pages in collaboration with that and its worked great. Now, I keep getting notices to go to the new and improved app. So I did. "Smart forms". They claim that it works better. I have a new iPad mini 4. This app literally does not work. Ive tried to reset over and over. I cant open PDFs from Pages any longer. Going right back to the old type on PDF app. Glad I didnt delete it or Id be in real trouble. Dont buy this...

App was working great until the latest update. When I click send to export the document, app appears to freeze and doesnt do anything

Very neat, tidy app, BUT..... Bought a one month subscription to send a doc. One week later I created another doc, and when I went to send it, the app said my subscription has expired. Go figure.

If you want to be able to send a free version of a pdf doc it puts a huge watermark at the top center of the page such that you cant rely whats behind it. The original version of this app was only replaced because they wanted to be able to charge you to do what the original did. Not much use for it then !

It seems to have crashed with this update. Its the first time Ive had a problem with this app. I hope it is corrected when I reboot this device or I wont be able to access a whole lot of files☹️
